This Sunday, March 1st, not only signifies that we made it through another February, it's also the day the 19th annual Demo Conference kicks off in Palm Springs. I have been to most of the conferences, missing a mere handful, for many years as a tech industry member and more recently as a journalist/blogger, covering for both The Hard Copy Observer and this blog. Though the economy has had its impact on Demo, with only about half the normal number of companies presenting (see "Demo09 presenters unveiled"), I'm predicting a good show with a number of surprises. Printing and imaging announcements are in the definite minority, always, but uncovering a nugget or two of interest to our industry is always a welcome challenge.
